In September 2022,  Hagans Leisure announced to its customers that it will be selling its site at Silloth The Solway Holiday Village, Meadow View Residential Park and Lido Residential park to Cove UK.

At the time of sale, in a letter seen by the Times & Star Mr Hagan commended the new owners for the way that they run holiday parks in the UK and around the world, saying that they will be able to take the park to 'the next level' in coming years.

The plans were submitted to Cumberland Council on December, 6 and will now go through a consultation process with the planning department.
