MEET our pets of the week, courtesy of Oak Tree Animals' Charity...
LUNA
Meet Luna, who's approximately 8 years old and an adventurous girl on the lookout for her forever home!
This independent lady is looking for a home where she can explore the outside world but have a warm bed to snuggle up in. She can be very affectionate and once she gets to know you she loves her head rubs, chin tickles and sitting on your lap but will tell you when she's had enough!
Although she enjoys her own company she has the potential to live with older children in a quiet home.
If you want to find out more information about Luna please call 01228 560082 and speak to a member of our Small Animal Team or email: smallanimalteam@oaktreeanimals.org.uk between 10am and 4pm.
IZZY
Izzy is 12 years (approx) and a sweet friendly cob who is looking for a home as a non-ridden companion. Izzy enjoys being groomed and loves fuss. She is good to catch, lead and likes to go out for in hand walks to explore the local area. She is good with the farrier and vet.
Currently, Izzy has access to a paddock during the day and is then brought into a barn overnight with soaked hay.
In March this year, Izzy was nannying our foals whilst they were being weaned. She is showing to be a great role model for these younger horses and enjoyed her time with them. She may suit a potential home with younger horses needing a mature companion.
If you want to find out more information about Izzy please call 01228 560082 and speak to a member of our Equine Team or email: equine@oaktreeanimals.org.uk between 10am and 4pm.
