ALLERDALE police officers were gifted a present all the way from Australia.
PC's 2758 and 2656 have received a thank you gift all the way from Adelaide, Australia after they offered a helping hand to tourists.
A few weeks ago, both officers helped two stuck tourists, who were extremely grateful for the assistance.
Allerdale Police said: "Helping people is what we joined the job to do, but this has brought an extra smile to our faces."
The officers were gifted some Australian sweets, or as the folks down under call it 'lollies'.
