A MAN in West Cumbria has been arrested after a window was smashed.
The incident occurred in Workington town centre on Thursday, September 26.
Police officers were out on patrol when they were alerted to the incident by members of the public.
In a post on social media, Cumbria Police wrote: "Today Allerdale NPT has been out on ASB patrols in Workington town centre.
"Whilst out on patrol they received reports of a male smashing a window of a premises in town.
"The male was quickly located and arrested thanks to help from members of the public and is currently in police custody."
