Free buses will be running on Boxing Day, thanks to Workington Transport Heritage Trust.
Trust volunteers have chosen to concentrate on Cockermouth.
Service 35 will run from Workington via Seaton, Camerton, Broughton Moor and Great Broughton to Cockermouth and Slatefell.
They will leave Workington bus station every two hours from 8.40am to 4.40pm.
Service 36 will run from Workington via Bridgefoot, Greysouthen and Low Brigham to Cockermouth and Slatefell.
These will leave the bus station every two hours from 9.40am to 3.40pm.
They will combine at Cockermouth to give an hourly service to the Slatefell estate from 9.25am to 5.25pm.
Alistair Grey, trust secretary, said: "For the first time, Stagecoach is operating an enhanced Sunday service on Boxing Day, so we have been able to concentrate our efforts on routes in the Cockermouth area that won't be served on that day.
"Our heritage buses will each be putting in a 10-hour day on Boxing Day.
"We know that people appreciate the service that we provide as over 700 passenger journeys were recorded last year.
"We are grateful to Stagecoach for the use of Workington Bus Station, and to Cumbria and Allerdale councils for their valuable support."
