Flimby came out on top of a muddy battle with Aspatria in the Iggesund Cumberland ARL.
The village outfit were ahead 10-4 at the break and built on that in the second half to clinch the game 26-10.
It was the only game to go ahead in the league due to the weather.
But there were three Cumbria Men's League clashes that came to a conclusion.
Maryport were on top against Barrow Island as they ran out 20-10 victors.
Seaton collected their second league win of the term as they defeated Roose Pioneers 20-0.
And the final game was a classic, with just one point separating Ulverston and Ellenborough at the final whistle.
At half time it looked as though Ulverston were on top, using their home advantage to good use, as they led 18-6.
But Ellenborough struck back and equalled the score at 18-18 with just over 10 minutes to go. However, Ulverston just clinched the game with a drop-goal three minutes from time to win 19-18.
