STEEL, Brigitte (Gitta) - Donald, Petra and Nicola would like to give heartfelt thanks to relatives, friends and neighbours for the support and kind expressions of sympathy received during the recent sad loss of Gitta, wife and mother. Thanks to staff on Maple Ward at the Cumberland Infirmary for their care during Brigitte's short illness and a very special thank you to the staff at the Eden Valley Hospice for the empathic care and kindness during Gitta's final days. Thank you also to Katie Walker and staff of Walker's Funeral Directors for advising and handling all of the funeral arrangements so efficiently and thanks also to June Hearsey for the lovely service celebrating Gitta's life. Finally thank you to all who attended the funeral and the generous donations made in memory of Brigitte to the Eden Valley Hospice.
