WOOD, Brian - Joan and family wish to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their overwhelming support during Brian's illness and in the very sad time of his passing. The many wonderful cards and gifts have been greatly appreciated. Very special thanks to Joe and Pat & Christine and Gavin for their continued and much needed help and support and to Dr Mari Kilner and her wonderful team, the staff on Clinical Oncology, all the staff on Larch D Ward at The Cumberland Infirmary and Angela Docherty and the Blood Buddies team. Brian thought the world of them all and appreciated everything they were doing for him. Thanks also to the doctors at Aspatria Medical Practice. A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Brenda Gear for a comforting service and her support to the family, to Gwen for the lovely tea, with it's personal touch, to Mark Szandurski Funeral Director who made our sad time bearable and to the bearers. Finally thank you to all who attended the funeral service for 'lifting the roof' for Brian and all who gave so generously to Blood Bikes and St. Kentigern's Church.
