BARKER, Avril - Neil, Steven and Adam would like to thank all family and friends for their kind sympathy and support at this sad time and most sincerely for the generous donations, over &pound1500 was collected in donations for Cancer Research UK and Eden Valley Hospice. Special thanks must go to the bearers, everyone involved with St John's Church, the kind words said by Rev'd Pauline Steenbergen (Eden Valley Hospice Chaplain), the heartfelt tribute by Ruth Walsh (Brook Street School), the prayers and words from Gerald McIntosh and Rev'd Steve Donald for the comforting service. Thank you to anyone who has been involved in Avril's treatment, especially Eden Valley Hospice who made her final days comfortable and safe, until she found peace. Finally thanks to Peter Watson of George Hudson & Sons for his help with the arrangements.
