The family would like to thank, relatives, friends and neighbours for their expressions of sympathy, cards, flowers and letters, they were very much appreciated and have been a great comfort at this tragic time.
We also thank you for all your very generous donations to the Great North Air Ambulance and the Intensive Care Unit at the RVI, Newcastle, a total of &pound1632.00 was collected at the service.
Our most grateful thanks to everyone who stopped and supported our family at the accident scene until the emergency services arrived.
Sincere thanks to all the emergency services, the Great North Air Ambulance and all the staff at the RVI for their unstinting care and support, this has been exemplary.
Finally, thank you to Anne Avison for a service which truly reflected Sheila and Hayley's characters and to Peter, Adam and all at George Hudson and Sons for their help, kindness and guidance throughout.
