DALZELL, Irene - John would like to express his sincere thanks to all friends and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy, support and cards following the death of his dear wife Irene. Special thanks go to Dr Fiona Dallas and all the staff of the Renal Department of the Cumberland Infirmary for their years of skilled and sympathetic treatment of Irene, and to the care providers who helped at home. Particular gratitude must go to the staff of the Eden Valley Hospice whose patient and considerate care ensured that the end of Irene's life was painless and peaceful. Thanks also to the Rev'd. Dorothy Derrick for her comforting service and Bruce Harris of George Hudson and Sons Funeral Directors for all the arrangements.
