HOLLIDAY, Kenneth (Ken) - Joyce and Steven have been overwhelmed by all the support received during Kenneth's illness. To our wonderful family and friends who visited, took him on outings, gardened, shopped, baked, gave nursing care and to those who phoned and offered support thank you. We also thank those who sent floral tributes, personal flowers, letters, cards and messages of sympathy. Sincere thanks to doctors at Dalston Surgery, to Janet Alston, Macmillan Nurse, to all at Hospice at Home and the great care given by the Solway Nursing Team, to Derek Donaldson for such a lovely service and Ian Powley, Ken's friend who gave a reading and spoke about his working life at Carrs Billington. We were very comforted to have so many people join us at the Crematorium. Thank you for attending and giving so generously, &pound900 will be divided between Hospice at Home and Brain Tumour Research. Thanks to his six nephews who were bearers and to the Auctioneer for the catering. Finally heartfelt thanks to Ken and Natalie Patton Funeral Directors for their guidance and for taking so much care with all the arrangements.
