MURPHY, Derek - Elsie would like to express her heartfelt thanks to her family, friends and neighbours for all the love and support they have given her over the past weeks. She would like to thank the caring and devoted staff of Ward 2, West Cumberland Hospital and the A&E Dept, Wards Larch and Beech at the Cumberland Infirmary for all the care Derek received. She thanks all their many wonderful friends for the beautiful cards and flowers she has received, also the donations to the Church and the British Lung Foundation. She would particularly like to thank the Rev'd Dorothy Derrick, Rev'd Eleanor Hancock and Mr R Banks for an uplifting service, and Mr Peter Watson of George Hudson and Sons for guiding her so professionally through the formalities. All of these people including ex work colleagues, members of Subscription Bowling Club, Brampton Choir and Church members are all thanked sincerely for making the loss of a dearly loved husband a little easier to bear.
