GEORGE, Dr James (Jim) - We, Angela and Jenn thank everyone for all the love, support and hugs they have given us over the recent difficult weeks. We thank everyone who has shared their memories, sent cards and beautiful flowers, delivered food and donated generously to Jim's chosen causes. We have been overwhelmed by the generosity and kindness shown by everyone who has known ourselves and Jim. We thank everyone who contributed towards Jim's care over the last year at the Cumberland Infirmary and especially those involved in the last few weeks. Words cannot express the thanks we owe to all the staff and volunteers at the Eden Valley Hospice who looked after both Jim and ourselves during the final days and enabled Jim to be in control of his care. We thank Carlisle Cathedral and especially the Canon Jan Kearton for her support and help during a service that truly represented the man Jim was. Special thanks also go to the amazing organist. Final recognition and thanks must go to Darren Studholme of D.C. Studholme Funeral Directors for his dedication, support and guidance at such a difficult time. Also thank you to the four coffin bearers (Job well done).
