ROPER, William (Willy) - The family of the late Willy Roper wish to express their sincere thanks to all relatives, friends and neighbours for the kindness and sympathy shown to them during their recent bereavement. Also for the cards, words of kindness and letters received and for the donations received to St Mary's Church and Alzheimer's Society which totalled &pound520. Thanks to Rev Edward Johnsen for his kind words and comforting service, to the staff at Lanercost House Care Home who cared for Willy so well. Special thanks to Colin for the wonderful floral tribute, so fitting and beautifully made. Our thanks to Marcia for guiding us through the service and to The Pheasant Inn for catering perfectly. Finally thanks to Sam Currey and Nicki Armstrong at The Co-op Funeralcare, Brampton for the funeral arrangements.
