BALLANTYNE, Bernard Brydon (Bill) - Delia would like to thank family and friends so much for all their kindness, comfort, flowers and messages of condolence following the sad loss of her treasured Dad and for their generous donations to the Cumberland Infirmary. Much gratitude is extended to the staff on Willow A Ward who gave Bill compassionate care throughout, and were so approachable to herself. Many thanks to George Hudson and Sons for their professionalism in dealing with the funeral arrangements, and to Peter Watson for his invaluable assistance at this very sad time. Heartfelt appreciation to Anne Avison for a very moving service which was a fitting tribute to a remarkable person in so many ways, and to Carole Walker for her constant welcoming hospitality at The Bobbin.
