HOWARD Joan (nee Park) Who sadly passed away on the evening of Friday 1st May, peacefully at her home with her loving family around her aged 72 years following a short illness. Beloved wife of the late John Howard, and a devoted mother to their three children; eldest son Trevor and two daughters Andrea and Nicola and her loving sister Janis. She was also an adoring grandmother, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and aunt to her extended family, including her six caring and affectionate grandchildren. A short, private family funeral service will be performed on Wednesday 13th May by the Rev Susan McKendrey, for family only due to current movement restrictions. Family flowers only, but any voluntary donations can be made to The Northern Cancer Centre at The Freeman Hospital, Newcastle or towards The National Autistic Society, via The Just Giving Page (see family for details).
