SMITH Elizabeth Peacefully at Clarendon Grange on Tuesday 22nd December 2020, Betty aged 94 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Stanley, much loved Mum of Sheila, mother-in-law to Andrew, a cherished grandma and great-grandma, a dear sister to Margaret and the late Eleanor and Frances and much loved by all the family and her many friends. Private funeral service was held at Distington Hall Crematorium on Monday 4th January. Many thanks to family and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy and to the friends who helped Betty to live an independent life at home for so long. Special thanks to all the staff at Clarendon Grange for the kindness and care given to Betty also James Street Surgery and District Nurses. Thanks also to Reverend Alistair Smeaton for his care and comforting service and to Tom Edgar Funeral Services for their support and guidance at this difficult time. Donations may be made to Workington Lifeboat Tom Edgar Funeral Services in memory of Betty.
