MAUGHAN Laura Peacefully at the West Cumberland Hospital on Sunday 21st February 2021. Laura aged 88 years, much loved wife of the late Eric, loving mam of Kevin, Alan, Carol and the late Lorraine and a much loved nana, great-nana, sister, sister-in-law and auntie and a friend to all. Private family funeral at Distington Hall Crematorium on Friday 5th March at 2.45pm. Enquiries to John Sandelands Funeral Directors Tel 01900 602753.

I was sad to read about Laura. Although I never visited her so often, as her toe nails never grew too quickly, I always enjoyed her company & my visits. She was a lovely person who I will always remember. I know as a family you've been through some tough times & I was amazed how well Laura seemed to cope. She had a good outlook on life & was obviously very well looked after & cared for by you all. A sad miss. Look after each other-Sally Foot Care
