CURWEN John Dick Sadly passed away, after a short illness on Sunday 28th February 2021. Much loved husband of the late Eileen, best friend and loving dad of Maureen, Eileen, John and David. Father-in-law, grandad, great-grandad, brother, uncle, cousin, 'mint giver' and friend to many. Private requiem mass to take place on Friday 12th March in St.Mary's R.C.Church, Harrington. Anyone who would like to pay there respects (social distancing), we will be leaving church at 10.40am and taking his final journey to Salterbeck Cemetery, to be interred with the love of his life Eileen x. I worked with John at Alco. Lovely man to work with, great sense of humour and he was well liked and respected by the people who worked there and customers he dealt with. So sorry to hear that he is no longer with us. RIP John, a real gentleman, now with his loving wife Eileen. Love Cath Quin x

I worked with John when we were both employed at Alco Waste Management in Workington, He was a true gentleman and I am sorry to read of his passing. He will be with his loving wife at last. God Bless John. Love from Mary Nicholson x
