BIRKETT Alan Peacefully at the West Cumberland Hospital on Thursday 26th August 2021, surrounded by his family and after a long illness bravely borne. Alan aged 56 years, dearly loved husband of Jakki, a much loved dad to Courtney and Owen, loving granda to Kalani and a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Funeral service and cremation to be held at Distington Hall Crematorium on Thursday 9th September at 11.15am. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Critical/Intensive Care Unit, Freeman Hospital, Newcastle c/o John Sandelands Funeral Directors Tel 01900 602753.
