FLEMING Alan Peacefully at the West Cumberland hospital on Saturday 5th November 2022. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy. Alan and Dorothy were together having met on VE Day in 1945, until Dorothy's death on 14th May this year. They were married for almost 69 years. Alan was highly respected in business, a good friend to all who knew him and dearly loved by his family. He was able to love and live life to the full and was thankful for this right to the end. Some of his last words are typical of the selfless and fantastic man he was: "How are you feeling Uncle Alan?" "Champion. Can't complain Funeral service to be held in St John's Church Workington on Friday 18th November at 12.30pm followed by cremation at Distington Hall Crematorium.
