BATTY John William Peacefully and surrounded by his family, at Riverside Court, Maryport, on Saturday 12th November, 2022, John, aged 66 years, of Jubilee Terrace, Maryport. Much loved son of Mary and the late William, dad of Nichola, granda of Leah, Owen and Lily, great-granda of Kendall and Nellie Rae, friend of Linda, brother of Alison and Sandra and dearly loved by all his family. Service in All Souls' Church on Thursday, 24th November at 1.30pm followed by interment at Maryport Cemetery. Flowers may be sent or donations can be made to Ellenborough Rangers RLFC c/o Stephen Johnston (Funeral Director), Stony Brook, Row Brow, Dearham, CA15 7JR.

I’m so devastated to hear the sad news about John. He was a kind gentle human with a great sense of humour. I remember the laughs he had with my dad when they worked together and having pie and peas on a Friday. My parents and I have been sharing fond memories of John. We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family at this sad time.
