MAWDSLEY Richard Died peacefully at Cumberland Infirmary on Tuesday 8th November 2022, aged 84 years after a short illness. Born in Ormskirk in Lancashire, Richard was a sheep farmer in Cumbria for many years, firstly at Tebay, then Dash near Bassenthwaite, retiring at the age of 70 to live in Great Broughton. Pre deceased by his brothers Justin and Gerard and his sisters Margaret and Angela, Richard will be much missed by his sister Ruth, his many nephews and nieces and his friends. Funeral Service at Distington Hall Crematorium on Thursday 1st December at 2pm, followed by reception at Broughton Craggs.
