SHARPLES George (19-12-1934-02-05-2023) Following a short illness, passed away unexpectedly on 2nd May 2023 at his home address, aged 88 years. Loving husband to the late Doris, loving father to Peter, Leslie, Kenneth and John. Step-father to Stefonija, father-in-law to Anne, Julie and Alison and a much loved grandad and great-grandad. Gentleman George will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral service to take place at Distington Hall Crematorium on Wednesday 31st May 2023 at 11.15am. Family flowers only please. Donations if so desired will be gratefully received for Worldwide Cancer Research.
