David, aged 78 years, sadly passed away on 30th August 2023 in Scotland. Beloved husband of Marlene, loving dad of Andrea and Paula, sons-in-law Ian and Kevin, devoted grandad of Rachel, Amy, Findlay and Sarah, loving brother of Lynn and a good friend to many. Funeral service to be held on Monday, 18th September at 1.00pm at Trinity Baptist Church, Maryport followed by interment in Maryport Cemetery. Family flowers only. ‘Always so loving, thoughtful and kind, What beautiful memories you leave behind’.

Hello Marlene, I don’t know if you remember me, we worked at Chapel Bank together, Edris Smith. I have lived in Canada for almost 50 years. I subscribe to the Times and Star to help keeping up with the news at home.
I was so sorry to read about David’s passing, you were such a beautiful couple in looks and personality. God Bless you and your daughters and Grandchildren.
