BENSON Margaret Peacefully at home on Saturday 30th December 2023, Margaret, aged 77 years, dearly loved wife of Tony, much loved mum of Petal, mother-in-law of Simon, loving nana of Owen and Jasmine and dear sister of Keith. Funeral service to be held at Lorton Street Methodist Church, Cockermouth on Thursday 18th January at 2.15pm followed by cremation at Distington Hall Crematorium at 3.30pm. Family flowers only please, by request, donations in memory of Margaret for Hospice at Home West Cumbria may be sent to Mark Szandurski, Funeral Director, Willow Dene, Outgang Road, Aspatria.

We are so sad to read of Margaret’s passing our prayers and thought are with you and all the family at this very sad time.
Margaret and I went to dancing class together, then we taught Sunday school together., then we were at the Water .aerobics together.
She never changed always cheerful, smiling and . Caring. Sorry we can’t join you to say Giodbye, to her but our deepest sympathy and prayers will g be e with you all.
