CORNWALL David Peacefully at the Cumberland Infirmary on Wednesday 31st January 2024, after a short illness. Loving husband to Win, brother to Alan, and father to Peter and Simon and their partners Rebecca and Lucy. Dave touched many lives through his work as Headteacher at St Matthew's School Westnewton and through his NASUWT union work. He will be fondly remembered as someone who put others before himself. The celebration of Dave's life will take place at Christ Church, Cockermouth on Thursday 8th February 2024 at 1.30pm. Instead of flowers people are encouraged to wear bright colours and can make donations to Bridget's Magical Music Pot (www.totalgiving.co.uk/mypage/bridgetsmagicalmusicpot).
