A group of Cockermouth churches will come together on Good Friday for the Walk of Witness.
Team rector the Rev Godfrey Butland said: "Churches Together in Cockermouth will develop the Walk of Witness we have had for some years and use some of the traditional stations of the cross around the town.
"At each ‘station’ we will tell the relevant part of the Good Friday story, and then a different church group will offer their own interpretation."
The walk will start from All Saints Church, off Kirkgate, at 9.45am. It will then head to the town hall (10.15am) and into Market Place (10.35am) before heading up Station Street to Sainsbury's (11am). The group will then head to the United Reformed Church (11.30am), on Main Street, for a service. After this they will continue to Memorial Gardens (12.20pm).
