Persimmon Homes has donated more than £800 to fund a mental well-being course in Maryport.
Workington-based Healthy Hopes is running the course on the town's Hillside estate with housing providers My Derwent & Solway.
Kathryne Peters, of Your Derwent & Solway, said mental well-being had been identified as top priority by the Maryport Health Asset Group.
She said: "We are working in deprived areas of West Cumbria and were delighted to be able to run this course in Maryport.
"The fact that Persimmon Homes has given us this money just means we can run it longer and more people will benefit."
Healthy Hopes offers free holistic workshops and support services promoting improved emotional well being and resilience.
A Persimmon Home spokeswoman said the building company was delighted to support this service in Maryport.
The course is held in the Ellen Court day room from 1pm to 2.30pm on Mondays.
It is run by Kerry Manson and Viv Nicol and people can just drop in as they wish.
