Three Workington women met soap actor and popstar Jason Donovan at an awards ceremony.

Slimming World consultants Kelly Blacklock, Lisa Bruce, 43, of Great Clifton, and Louise Lister met the heartthrob when he swapped his native Australia for the weight-loss organisation's annual awards, which he co-hosted.

Lisa, 43, of Great Clifton, said: “I felt very honoured to represent Slimming World groups in Workington when we met Jason. Now I feel incredibly motivated and I can’t wait to support more people to lead healthier, happier lives in 2016.”
