A man has been ordered to pay 89p compensation after he stole tin foil from a shop.
Thomas Edward Morton, 42, was also found in possession of diamorphine, a class A drug, following the incident in Workington on December 2.
Morton, of no fixed address, stole the tin foil from the town's Home Bargains.
When he appeared at the magistrates court in Workington he was handed a conditional discharge for 12 months.
He was ordered to pay compensation for the item stolen from the shop and magistrates also ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs found on him.
