Seven new deaths were announced at Cumbria's two main NHS hospital trusts.
The North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust - which operates the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle and the West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven - announced two new deaths on Saturday.
These were recorded on November 24 and November 25, taking the total death toll at the trust to 219 since the start of the pandemic.
At the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust - which runs the Westmorland General in Kendal and the Furness General in Barrow - one new death was announced yesterday and four on Saturday.
These deaths were recorded on November 24, November 25, November 26 and November 27, taking the total fatalities to 306 at the trust.
Up to November 24, the number of cases in the preceding seven days were recorded in the following areas, accompanied by the rate per 100,000:
Allerdale - 76 (77.7 per 100,000)
Barrow - 57 (85 per 100,000)
Carlisle - 186 (171.1 per 100,000)
Copeland - 60 (88 per 100,000)
Cumbria - 532 (106.4 per 100,000)
Eden - 43 (80.7 per 100,000)
England - 98,963 (175.8 per 100,000)
South Lakeland - 110 (104.7 per 100,000)
Coronavirus deaths refer to any patient who has died in hospitals in England and either tested positive for Covid-19 or where no positive test result was received for Covid-19, but Covid-19 was mentioned on their death certificate.
