Four news deaths with coronavirus were recorded at an NHS trust with hospitals in Cumbria.
The University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust - which operates hospitals in south Cumbria and Lancashire - announced the deaths yesterday.
They were recorded on November 28 and November 29. This takes the total number of deaths at the trust since the start of the pandemic to 310.
There were no new deaths announced by the North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Up to November 25, the number of cases in the preceding seven days were recorded in the following areas, accompanied by the rate per 100,000:
Allerdale - 76 (77.7 per 100,000)
Barrow - 54 (80.5 per 100,000)
Carlisle - 161 (148.1 per 100,000)
Copeland - 45 (66 per 100,000)
Cumbria - 480 (96 per 100,000)
Eden - 34 (63.8 per 100,000)
England - 94,435 (167.8 per 100,000)
South Lakeland - 110 (104.7 per 100,000)
Coronavirus deaths refer to any patient who has died in hospitals in England and either tested positive for Covid-19 or where no positive test result was received for Covid-19, but Covid-19 was mentioned on their death certificate.
