A PROUD football club is delighted to have officially launched a new group to remember the highs, lows and everything in-between throughout the past 100 years.
The original Workington Football Club went into liquidation in 1911, being re-formed 10 years later in 1921.
And now, almost one century later, the team is over the moon to mark its centenary season with its Centenary Club, celebrating and remembering all-things-Workington Reds.
But it's not just players getting involved, as fans of the club are also being encouraged to become a member of the special group.
For a joining fee of £125, members will receive unique treats, including invitations to future celebratory events, allowing all to strengthen their bond with the club.
Commenting on the Centenary Club's creation on the club website, chairman David Bowden said: "This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to take part in our centenary celebrations, and we look forward to you all celebrating with us."
