CARE HOME heroes in Maryport are going above and beyond for residents.
Staff at Granville Court Care Home are amongst the care staff in Cumbria that are going to great lengths for those in need during the pandemic.
Staff of the home are isolating with the residents during the third lockdown to ensure they are always there to help.
A spokesperson for the home said: “Team A volunteered themselves to isolate within the home with the residents and work around the clock for a full two week period, meaning we have eradicated the footfall of staff entering and leaving the home.”
At the end of the two weeks they will swap with Team B who will be living in the home for a further week.
“We continue to be free from Covid-19 and thanks to Maryport Health Services, we have all received our vaccinations.”
The team hope the period of lockdown gives their Covid-19 vaccinations enough time to take effect, protecting both staff and residents.
