AN APPEAL has gone out for volunteers to help out at the Lake District National Park.
The authority and Cumbria CVS are holding an online Zoom session tomorrow (Friday), between 10am and 11am.
A spokeswoman for Cumbria CVS said: "Could you offer your time and be a volunteer with the Lake District National Park?
"Visitor Support Volunteers are needed to work within the wider ‘Safer Lakes’ team to help guide and advise all visitors in some of the busiest places in the Lake District."
About 150 Visitor Support Volunteers are for Grasmere and Rydal, Coniston, Buttermere and Borrowdale, Glenridding and Ullswater, together with Keswick and Threlkeld
The park is expecting an influx of volunteers after some of lockdown restrictions are eased from March 29.
