Relaxed and fun virtual meetings are going ahead for people with dementia and carers who live in the community.
Carlisle Dementia Action Alliance have been running virtual dementia cafes since January.
The Alzheimer's Society Dementia Cafe provides an opportunity for people in similar situations to meet each other, to share experiences, have a laugh, and access information.
The virtual meetings are held using Zoom video conferencing over the internet.
The next cafe meeting will be on Tuesday, April 20 running until June.
Alzheimer Society are running alternative services as well, Singing for the Brain sessions to help people stay in touch with each other while enjoying a supported activity and social space.
One to one telephone support is also available to provide information or solving problems whenever new queries or situations arise.
