A CALLOUT saw Workington RNLI tasked by CGOC Belfast Coastguard today with assisting a 14ft vessel in distress off the coast of Flimby.
The volunteer crew assembled at about 1.55pm, launching all weather lifeboat Dorothy May White.
The crew towed the vessel into Maryport harbour and the two occupants on board are safe and well.
A spokesperson for Workington RNLI said: "Great multi-operational working and thanks to our colleagues in Maryport."
