A teenage musician from west Cumbria who has already taken the stage by storm is now making his way up the charts.
Logan Paul Murphy the Beatles Boy from Workington has made it to number one in the iTunes easy listening category with his debut single, a cover of 'I'll Always Be Your Mom'.
Logan, 15, has been playing and producing music for a year and a half now and has even graced the Cavern Club in Liverpool - famous for staging gigs by the Beatles - at the age of just 13.
"I went on iTunes to look myself after my dad phoned me and said that it was number one. I was looking at it and could see names like Barry Manilow and Neil Sedaka in there," said Logan.
"I was absolutely blown away.
"I love Neil Sedaka, and one of my favourite songs by him is 'Laughter in the Rain'. It was only number 14.
"I was just so surprised."
Logan has been playing the guitar for three years and taught himself to play the piano last January.
The Covid-19 lockdown didn't stop him from sharing his music, and at the height of lockdown his Facebook live shows were sometimes attracting 80,000 views.
Logan said the inspiration behind covering 'I'll Always Be Your Mom', by Aimee Zimmermann, started off as a request by a friend.
"My friend's daughter's wedding was coming up and they wanted me to play a song for the mother and daughter dance.
"I learned it in time and played it. After that, John - the guy whose daughter's wedding it was - said I should record it in the studio and put it on a disk."
The track was soon released before taking to the iTunes charts.
Logan said he has always found inspiration in his idols - the Beatles - who he was first introduced to at the age of eight whilst travelling around the country with his dad, Lee, who delivers motorbikes.
He added: "I used to go delivering with my dad around the country, and I found a Beatles CD in his van.
"I popped it in and I was hooked ever since."
As well as playing at venues closer to home, like Stanwix Holiday Park in Silloth, Logan has also been invited to play at the International Beatleweek in Liverpool.
He is also set to play festivals in Cumbria, including the NHS Festival at Whitehaven, Mains Farm Festival and Havenfest.
