Rugby league play offs have been announced for Betfred League 1.
Giving Workington Town fans the much anticipated dates that they can can go and watch their team perform.
Workington Town will not be playing the first weekend but will play the winners of that game.
A spokesperson from Betfred League 1 said: "Workington Town receive a bye through the first weekend as their reward for finishing second in the table, and they will then host the winners of the Qualifying Play-Off – North Wales or Keighley.
"In the Qualifying Semi Final on Sunday September 26th (2pm kick-off), with the winners taking the direct route to the Final, and securing home advantage in it."
The winners of that game will then travel to the losers of the Qualifying Semi Final on the afternoon of Sunday October 3rd with the kick off to be confirmed.
Here they will battle for the second place in the Betfred League 1 Promotion Play-Off Final the following week.
The Final will be played on the home ground of the winners of the Qualifying Semi Final with a 1pm kick-off.
Throughout the Play-Offs, the higher ranked club will be determined by league placings unless those rankings have been reversed by a previous Play-Off result.
