BUSINESSES are being encouraged to apply for a new version of a grant available to those affected by Covid-19.
The Additional Restrictions Grant was relaunched on Monday for eligible businesses who can demonstrate that Coronavirus restrictions reduced their turnover during 2020/2021.
Businesses could be eligible for grants between £2,000 and £10,000 depending on how much their turnover has been affected by restrictions.
Allerdale Borough Council is urging businesses in their area to apply for the grants on what is the third time they have been made available.
The last date for receipt of applications for this final round grant scheme is 12pm on Friday, 12 November, 2021
A spokesperson for the council said: “The ARG funding is to support those businesses who have been severely impacted by restrictions and were not eligible for any of the previous Covid business support grants administered by Allerdale Borough Council.”
