THE Next generation of Workington's rugby pro's were celebrated in an awards night earlier this month.
The Seaton Rangers ARLFC under 16 awards night was held at the rugby club on Friday, November 5 to recognise all the achievements of the clubs youth team over the past year.
The under 16's at Seaton Rangers have enjoyed much success over the last season and throughout their time paying at the club.
For many of the team it will be their last year playing in the junior leagues, however many have decided to progress into playing open age at the club in the coming season.
Throughout their time, the squad have been coached by Stuart Ackerley and Ben Nixon who are extremely proud about how their side have worked over the years .
Coach Ben Nixon, said: "These lads were up against some really good teams and since we started in 2012 they never forfeited a game they always turned up and we are just really proud of them and all of their achievements."
Winners on the night included :
*Owen Cordin - Top try scorer
*Ellis Nixon- AFM Outstanding youth player of the year and Ref's player of the year.
*Hydan Holliday- Away coaches player of the year.
*Adam Baxter- Coaches Player of the year
*Alfie Benzie- Player of the year, Player's player of the year and Parent's player of the year.

Thanks were also extended to all of the players, parents and volunteers at the club.
