Workington RNLI
Workington RNLI were called out at 8.39pm on Thursday 10th by Belfast Coastguard to assist in the search for a missing person
The incident occurred between Harrington and Workington.
ALB Dorothy May White and ILB John F Mortimer were launched and worked with Whitehaven Coastguard Rescue Team and Maryport Coastguard Rescue Team to search the area.
A spokesperson from the Coastguard said: "Boats were stood down at 10.30pm after the person was found safe on land."
