Whinlatter Forest Park
If it’s family fun you’re looking for, Whinlatter Park may be the perfect pick for you. Located in Allerdale, its full of mountain bike trails, scenic walks and iconic views. You can also hire a boat there were the Cruiser will take you for a lake ride that will take your breath away. If you’re feeling brave you can also tackle the Honister Pass, which is a steep climb but worth it for the scenery and experience.

Llama Trekking
Lama Treks are possibly one of the most fun-filled activities you can do in Workington. You can ride a Llama through a countryside trek which will cost £45, or you could do even have a half day Llama for £90. Railway Club has a buzzing atmosphere and is a hybrid of a pub/club. It has a bingo night on Friday nights, there’s also live karaoke and a friendly pub atmosphere with a great selection of drinks. Buttermere Lake
Situated in Cockermouth, Buttermere Lake is on of the most tranquil places in Cumbria. It’s free to wonder all through the weekend and has some of the most beautiful scenery. There is a footpath you can follow along the water, or you can take a trek up Haystacks and Red Pike to see the Lakeland from the best angles. If you fancy refreshments you can buy local icecreams from a cow form which are near the near by farms. A wonderful day out for couples and families.
