A FUN day with a serious purpose aims to show families who feel isolated what they have in their community.
The event will include arts and crafts, face painting and lots more for children to do.
Thre are refreshments, supplied by Lidl superstore and a few mini workshops on various subjectds to be enjoyed.
The fun day is being held in Maryport in partnership with the county council, Allerdale council and Maryport Town Council.
It will bring together many of the services and groups that operate in or around the town including the blood bikes, Fire Service, Maryport Inshoe Rescue, Every Life Matters and more.
Counth and Allerdale community development officer Elain Lewis said there are people and families who feel isolated and the lockdown has made the situation worse.
The fun day - with the accent on fun - is to encourage individuals and families to come and enjoy themselves and find out what is available in the town from the library to the lifeboat.
The event will be held at Maryport Rugby Club on Mealpot Road from 11am to 3pm on March 12
