GRANTS: The meeting was held in the town hall
Community grants have been awarded to four organisations.
Cockermouth and Papcastle Recreational Trust held a meeting in the town hall recently and considered various applications.
Members agreed the following grants: Kirkgate Arts & Heritage - £150 towards visit to Dove Cottage; Cockermouth Festivals Group - £500 towards Cockermouth Live! 2022; Papcastle Social Committee - £100 towards a Jubilee Street Party; Papcastle Village Hall Committee - £625 towards printing of Villager Magazine.
The meeting was chaired by Alan Smith, the next one will be held on October 5.
