Ewanrigg Junior School kicked off the jubilee party in Maryport this week.
The school held an afternoon tea for parents and pupils.
There was bunting and decorations everywhere, including frames of stamps featuring the Queen, Union flags and plenty to eat and drink.
Maryport mayor, Peter Kendall, attended the celebration. He has visited all schools in recent days presenting them with a tree to plant and pupils received a commemorative souvenir.
