Number 10- Allerdale is home to some of the most stunning parts of the Lake District. Keswick in particular is a great place to visit where you can take a boat ride on Derwent Water or explore the shops in the town centre.
Number 9- There are also quieter parts of the countryside you can visit like Buttermere and Loweswater which are set against the stunning backdrop of the Lake District.
Number 8- If you're a movie lover why not take a trip to The Ritz Cinema in Workington. This weekend they'll be showing Jurrasic World: Dominion and Top Gun: Maverick.
Number 7- Maryport is a wonderful town to visit you can enjoy a walk around the harbourside or pay a visit to The Lake District Coast Museum.
Number 6- Workinton and Cockermouth are good places to enjoy a night out with friends and family with a selcection of pubs and clubs. Some top picks are The Well and Castle Bar.
Number 5- Why not take a shopping trip into town? There are a range of chain and independent stores in Workington where you can buy all the best goods.
Number 4- Allonby and Silloth are fantastic seaside towns with great beaches and places to get an ice cream or fish and chips.
Number 3- Allerdale is an area with a great deal of history why not pay a visit to The Helena Thompson Museum in Workington or the William Wordsworth House in Cockermouth.
Number 2- As it's the weekend you could always head out for a nice meal with your family and friends. Some good places to visit are Blocks Steakhouse Flavour in Workington.
Number 1- If you are looking to stay fit head along to Workington Park Run which starts every Saturday at 9:30am.
