A fun day and dog show will raise funds and the profile of a group of volunteers dedicated to saving lives.
Maryport Inshore Rescue has organised the fun day and "Maryportscruft" dog show.
The group of volunteers who receive no regular funding, are involved in sea, flood and mud rescue and have responded to many of the major disasters in the area.
On Saturday they will join the Maryport Yachting Association for a day of fun for all the family. Events will include a rescue display in the harbour and water games in the marina.
Local schools will perform sea shanties and there will be plenty for them to do with bouncy castles, face painting, stalls, and lots more.
The Lake District Coast Aquarium's touch pool will be there. Fresh fish will be sold on the harbour and there will be an array of food from fudge to artisan cheeses on sale.
The day's events will start at 10 am, which is also the registration time for the dog show.
This is an event for all from potential Crufts winners to loveable mutts.
It includes the funniest looking dog, dogs who look most like their owners and children handlers.
A full schedule of dog categories can be found on the Maryport Rescue Facebook page. Scroll down to upcoming events.
